Patient Services Representative Trainer – Full-Time Position – Raleigh Location

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly personable Patient Services Representative (PSR) Trainer to join our fast-paced medical practice. This role is essential in ensuring our front desk teams deliver a consistent, high-quality patient experience through effective training, coaching, and ongoing support.

The PSR Trainer will lead onboarding and development for new hires while providing continued education and performance support to existing team members. This position also floats between locations, offering hands-on front desk support when needed.

Key Responsibilities


- Train and onboard newly hired Patient Services Representatives, tailoring training methods to different learning styles

- Provide ongoing education, coaching, and performance feedback to established PSRs

- Conduct routine quality audits and track training progress, sharing updates with leadership

- Maintain and update PSR training materials, procedures, and guides

- Collaborate with PSR Supervisors and the Patient Services Manager to identify training needs and improvement opportunities

- Support front desk operations across locations, including check-in/check-out, registration, and patient assistance

- Verify insurance coverage, referrals, and authorizations to ensure accurate and efficient patient processing

- Monitor front desk workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service

- Assist with collecting co-pays, posting payments, and maintaining accurate patient records in the electronic health record system

- Handle patient interactions with professionalism, maintaining composure in fast-paced or high-pressure situations



What You Bring


- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical or clinic environment (preferred)

- Strong proficiency in front desk operations, insurance verification, and electronic health records

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

- Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for training and mentoring others

- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

- Professional demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude
