You will work with other Project Engineers and will be responsible for design, implementation, testing, activation, documentation and support of solutions sold to our customers. The solutions will include: MPLS, VoIP, O365, Internet Activation, SDN-WAN, FTTH, Firewalls, VMware etc. You will also be the interface between our sales, technical architects, projects and service delivery teams to ensure optimal and timely delivery of solutions sold. The engineer will be an escalation point for complex incidents from other engineers and/or our customers.
Requirements

Design, build, test, activate and support MPLS, VoIP, O365, Internet, SD-WAN, FTTH, Firewalls, VMware projects
Provide all required project installation documents: HLD, LLD, UAT and As Built documents
Work with project managers and other delivery teams to ensure that solutions provided to customers are delivered within specified timelines
Liaise with go-to-market technical architects and sales teams to ensure that solutions provided to clients are well scoped and fit for purpose
Highlight risks, provide alternative options, and recommend quality solutions to specified problems
Where feasible, use automation to reduce delivery time and human intervention on repetitive tasks
Guide on change management on change management when integrating solutions provided to customers.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field of study
At least 2 years working experience in IT networks
Technical Certifications in CCNA, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet NSE4, SOPHOS, O365, VMware, Hyper-V
DevOps certification and experience scripting and network automation will be an added advantage.

Key Skills
Design, implementing, administering, and strong troubleshooting experience on the following:

Experience in designing, implementing and supporting SD-WAN solutions (Meraki, Fortinet)
Experience in designing, implementing and supporting MPLS solutions
Knowledge of Cloud services ie 0365, VMs, Hosted PBX
Strong experience on LAN, WAN, Wifi and internet technologies
Knowledge and experience in deploying and supporting IP routing protocols, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP
Knowledge and experience in deploying and supporting IP routing protocols, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP
Experience in designing and deploying L2TP and IPSec VPNS.
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Applications, protocols like SMTP, FTP (File Transfer Protocol) etc.
