REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education (Essential):


Diploma or Technical Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Quality


Desired Qualifications (Advantageous):


BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering


Certifications in:


IPC-A-610
IPC J-STD-001
IPC/HWMA-A-620
Exposure to ISO 9001 (IATF 16949/AS 9100 beneficial), ISO 14000


Applicable Work Experience:


Five (5) years in a manufacturing/electronic assembly environment
Two (2) years in Quality Assurance and Control
Experience in the following industries: Defense, Aeronautics, or Automotive


SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Technical Skills:


Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Hands-on experience with various mechanical and digital measuring instruments
Familiarity with assembly techniques and production quality controls


Computer Literacy:


Essential: MS Office (Intermediate Excel skills)
Suggested: Microsoft Dynamics NAV


Language Proficiency:


Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and with a high degree of responsibility and accuracy
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality improvement
A proactive and problem-solving approach to preventing and addressing quality issues
Understanding of fault analysis and implementing corrective actions
Persistence, diligence, and the ability to enforce quality standards under pressure
Willingness to work overtime when required and adapt to dynamic work conditions
Physically able to walk, stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours), and occasionally lift/carry items up to 20kg


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure adherence to quality standards
Support quality assurance processes by identifying and mitigating risks in the production environment
Maintain quality records and ensure compliance with ISO and other applicable standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Perform inspections, evaluations, and reporting on non-conformance and corrective action processes
