STOCK PERSON / CALF REARER REQUIRED
Located in beautiful West Dorset (Dorchester) we are a family mixed farm with a dairy (milked robotically), beef, sheep and arable enterprise.
We have a young team who are the core of our business success and progression. We are committed and passionate about developing our employees helping them to grow whilst growing our business.
We currently have a opening for a stock person / calf rearer which includes;
Daily shed routine; scraping up JCB 403, raking beds, cleaning robots.
Working with and providing cover for the herdsperson (lely robots), collecting cows, sorting cows for the foot trimmer, foot bathing cows.
Working with and providing cover for the calf rearer, strawing and feeding calves.
Outside feeding of cattle, sorting and weighing cattle.
Rate of pay is dependent on experience. There is an option for an onsite 1 bedroom apartment or a mobile home. Applicant must be able to work alone or as part of a fun young team.
