Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry grade into this cadre.  An officer at this level will work under supervision of a senior officer.  Duties and responsibilities include; 

Receiving and recording all patient work and interpreting patient prescriptions; 
Disinfecting impressions; casting impressions; 
Making acrylic complete/partial repairs; and 
Participating in oral/dental health promotion.

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

Diploma in Dental Technology or its equivalent qualification;
Certificate of registration from the Kenya Dental Technologists Association; and
Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
