Key Responsibilities


Stay abreast of changes in labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in Fintech Industry.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Collaborate with Compliance and legal teams to create and update company policies and procedures.
Communicate policy changes to employees and ensure understanding and adherence.
Conduct regular audits to assess HR processes and practices for compliance.
Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
Provide training to HR staff and employees on compliance related matters.
Ensure awareness of compliance standards throughout the organization.
Lead or support investigations into HR compliance issues.
Implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate and update records related to HR compliance.
Ensure documentation is readily available for CBN and other regulatory audits.
Prepare and submit reports on compliance metrics and initiatives to CBN.
Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
Work closely with legal counsel, HR, and other relevant departments to address compliance challenges.
Getting board resolution passed.
Foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring all processes are streamlined and efficient.
Manage employee records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Supervise payroll, benefits administration, and employee data management.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Monitor and improve employee satisfaction by addressing HR-related queries and concerns.
Analyze HR metrics and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Lead and mentor the HR operations team, fostering professional growth.
Collaborate with other HR functions such as recruitment, L&D, and talent management.
Partner with leadership to align HR operations with organizational goals.


Skills and Qualifications Required for this Role


Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Degree in Law will be an advantage.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR compliance roles.
Must have worked in Fintech Companies.
Indepth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
