Job Description


Sample collection and transportation
Maintain all inventories.
Analyzing blood specimens using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.
Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.
Label, sort and check specimens 
Preparing specimens for transportation, including labeling vials accurately and matching blood specimens to patients.
Keeping and maintaining records of patient names, volume of blood drawn, and diagnostic findings.
Ordering laboratory supplies, as needed.
Perform all other laboratory duties as assigned.


Qualifications


MLA / MLT qualifications
Current Practicing license with MLSCN
Experience as a Phlebotomist
Customer orientated staff
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
