Required Qualifications and Experience


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a website developer with a strong portfolio demonstrating web development skills.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience with back-end technologies (e.g., PHP, Node.js) and databases (e.g., MySQL).
Knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla).
Familiarity with SEO best practices and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
A Christian in good and regular standing.


Preferred Skills and Qualities


Experience in an academic or educational environment.
Knowledge of web compliance standards and guidelines.
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) for basic design tasks.


Duties and Responsibilities


Develop, maintain, and enhance the university’s websites, ensuring user-friendliness and responsiveness.
Collaborate with departments to understand their web-related needs and deliver functional solutions.
Implement and manage CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla) to support content management.
Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and SEO.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
Ensure compliance with web standards and accessibility guidelines.
Integrate web-based tools to support the university’s digital initiatives.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.
Perform any other ICT-related tasks as instructed by the ITS Manager.
