Education:


A Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting or Economics or an MBA is required.


Certifications & Licenses (highly preferred in Kenya)


Certified in CPA-K, ACCA, or CIMA
Registered member of ICPAK
MBA or strategic finance certification is an added advantage


Job Experience & Skills Required:


Minimum 10 years experience in finance roles & 5+ years in senior or executive positions
Experience in audit firms (Big Four preferred) or structured finance teams
Proven track record in managing large-scale budgets and leading finance departments
Proven experience in compliance leadership and external audit management
Strong ethical foundation and sound judgment in financial decision-making
Ability to engage boards and executive teams with clear, actionable insights
Sector experience in FMCG, manufacturing, financial services or multinationals
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks: CBK, ICPAK, KRA, and international audit practices
