Requirement for appointment

A Bachelors Degree in Quantity Survey or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
Member of Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQs) Kenya.
Expertise in building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Must be computer literate.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop bill of quantities (BOQ) for new projects for contract documentation.
Conduct assessment of property, buildings for the purpose of maintenance, repair, upgrading or demolition.
Supervise projects and value works for purposes of payments.
Supervise construction works and prepare measurement of on-going works.
Prepare estimates and budgets for new projects.
Valuation of projects for the purpose of payment, claims, acquisition, litigation or any other government purpose.
Prepare contract documents, procurement plans, budgets, work plans.
Perform risk analysis evaluation and appraisals.
Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
