Key Responsibilities:


Helping the Chef in preparing the meals.  
Washing, cutting, and chopping the fruits, vegetables, and meat.  
Preparing and washing the kitchen utensils.  
Utilizing all the necessary kitchen equipment and machinery.  
Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor at regular intervals.  
Assisting with unloading the food items.  
Storing and organizing the food supplies.  
Keeping the kitchen grills clean and tidy.  
Cleaning crockery and cutlery as and when required.  
Coordinating with the kitchen staff.  
Checking the kitchen inventory levels and restocking them.  
Ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly.  
Recording any food wastages in the kitchen.  
Maintaining the kitchen equipment.  
Complying with the health and safety standards.  


Job Requirements:


High school diploma or GED. 
Working experience as a Kitchen Assistant, or a similar role in the Hospitality industry. 
A professional license as a Food Handler will be an added advantage. 
Sound experience and knowledge of kitchen safety procedures.
Ability to communicate with the team members efficiently. 
Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects. 
Ability to work under minimal or no supervision.
Ability to work in a team as well as independently.  
Ability to pay attention to details.  
Outstanding time management and interpersonal skills.  
Willingness to work during weekends, holidays, and nightshifts.
