Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this position, a candidate MUST:

be a Kenyan citizen;
be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized in Kenya;
have experience of at least three (3) years; and
have the ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with sensitivity
and respect for diversity.

The functions of the Board are to—

ensure proper and efficient exercise of the powers and performance of the functions of the Corporation;
advise the management of the Corporation generally on the exercise of the powers and the performance of the functions of the corporation;
approve the estimates of the revenue and expenditure of the Corporation; and perform such other functions as are provided for under this Act or any other written law.
