The Account Officer will be responsible for performing clerical finance operations, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact-checking, filing, and other duties as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for reconciling transaction information collated from bank statements to ensure that mandates are properly executed.
Responsible for maintaining files, including general ledger journal, vouchers, accounts payable documentation, and other miscellaneous filings
Responsible for keeping proper records of receipts and payments
Responsible for promptly preparing requisitions for office and other routine supply purchases
Responsible for assisting the Group Accountant in preparing financial statements and other reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of HND in relevant courses is required
At least 1 year of experience
Use of Microsoft  Office applications, particularly the use of a spreadsheet
Good interpersonal, communication, documentation, and customer service skills
Attention to detail and confidentiality
Able to work with a team
High analytical skills
