Job Summary


The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.


Responsibilities


Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax filings.
Assist with audits, budgeting, and forecasting.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.


Qualifications


Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
With 2-7 years experience
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Professional certification (ICAN, CPA or ACCA) is a plus.
