Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the rest of the Peach leadership team, in particular, the COO, to fully own efforts in the following areas:
Performance Management and Optimization: Work with internal stakeholders and data streams to structure data collection and storage efforts, better understand baseline(s), identify opportunities/challenges, brainstorm levers we might pull for improvement, growth, ROI, etc., and then work alongside the team leads throughout a journey of pressure testing and rapidly iterating on hypotheses. This will include the management of our existing data and performance indicator tracking tools: (1) North Star Metrics, (2) Financial KPIs, (3) Non-Financial KPIs, and (4) OKRs.
Financial Controller: Overseeing and ensuring accuracy in our financial records, conducting regular reviews to fix any issues, creating financial models to inform strategic decision-making, and managing external providers for tax and financial compliance in Kenya and Japan He/she will lead the team to build proper financial reporting systems, track revenue and costs for the business and perform financial forecasting and budgeting from a leadership perspective.
Change Management: Work with the Peach team to understand what's going well and what needs improvement and integrate changes - of their own design or otherwise - into the existing business operations and organizational structure to realize improvement(s). This will require tight collaboration and rapport between the Head of Commercial Operations and the stakeholders impacted, as the former will require weigh-in and/or buy from the latter according to the effort at hand. This will look like even tighter day-to-day collaboration with and management of the team through change(s), setting up the systems/processes and structures to ensure the change(s) takes. An understanding of and ability to leverage situational leadership will be a must.
Other Duties: Given the right candidate, additional value-adding efforts, such as supporting preparation for and execution of fundraising vis-a-vis analyses and communication tools, or expansion planning and implementation, could very well be part of the roles and responsibilities. Examples include:
Inspection center design, build, and integration
Facility expansion
Commercial business unit expansion
Act as a project manager to legal counsel / legal requirements at Peach Cars
Supporting R&D efforts at Peach Cars

Qualifications
The candidate must have-

An MBA or other postgraduate degree in a business-related course
Proven experience in either consulting, venture capital, corporate finance, operational leadership, C-suite, or strong experience in project management, as these skills are critical to the success of the role
A strategic thinker and coordinator by nature, with demonstrated successes in using data to pull out insights and ask the next question. The candidate must have experience in Business Intelligence and the ability to analyze and interpret data for use.
Highly collaborative and understand how to “work through others” to ensure she/he is able to scale their efforts and impact across the company.
Expert communicator, knowing how to sit in between multiple (potentially tens) of stakeholders and ensure everyone knows what they need to know, when, etc. and get the feedback as well as results needed to advance.
