Key Responsibilities


Implement Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA), Sustainable Land Management (SLM) and gender mainstreaming activities in line with project objectives.
Support community-based initiatives including kitchen gardens, soil conservation, water harvesting, and fodder cultivation for farmers.
Strengthen gender and women empowerment components in project activities.
Collect and document success stories, video/photo stories, and timely progress reports.
Provide technical support and capacity building to community beneficiaries and Green Volunteers (GVs).
Monitor, track, and report on project performance, ensuring compliance with GBM and donor requirements.
Build and sustain partnerships with stakeholders to advance GBM’s vision and mission.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Represent GBM in community and stakeholder forums as delegated.


Qualifications and Experience


Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
At least one year of proven experience as an Extension Officer in community-based or natural resource management projects.
Strong skills in community mobilization, advocacy, data collection, and reporting.
Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and with diverse community groups.
