Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategies to increase market share, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Strategy Development

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets
Analyze competitors and industry trends to inform business decisions


Sales and Revenue Growth

Set and achieve sales targets
Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability
Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue diversification


Partnership and Relationship Management

Establish and maintain relationships with local farmers, suppliers, and business partners
Negotiate contracts and agreements with key stakeholders
Represent Fresh Diet Service at industry events and trade shows


Customer Acquisition and Retention

Develop strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
Oversee the implementation of customer loyalty programs
Analyze customer feedback and data to improve services and products


Team Leadership and Collaboration

Work closely with other departments to align business development initiatives with overall company goals
Mentor and guide team members to achieve business objectives
Collaborate with marketing team to develop effective promotional strategies


Reporting and Performance Monitoring

Prepare regular reports on business development activities and outcomes
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies
Present findings and recommendations to senior management



Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the food or retail industry
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
