A reputable health facility in Tse-Addo, Accra is seeking for NURSING OFFICER. An experienced and proficient Nursing Officer to join our clinical team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Providing leadership and guidance to all subordinate nursing staff • Implementing the physician’s orders such as giving medications, assessing the patient’s/client’s response to the treatment plan and practicing infection control processes to reduce health risks in the work environment. • Evaluating the safety of the medical plan before implementing it. • Maintains current knowledge of nursing care practices. • Serve as a resource person to clinical health assistants, nurses, medical staff, and other related professional staff in the provision of patient treatment plans. • Patient education and coaching. • Conduct all nursing activities with the highest standard of professionalism and confidentiality. • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by monitoring confidential information processing. • Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Demonstrates a strong clinical background and proficient in nursing skills • Demonstrates ability to problem-solve and execute solutions. • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. • Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong people skills, Skilled in conflict management and de-escalation techniques. • Ability to work independently, as well as to be part of a collaborative team. • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Proficient in multi-tasking and time management. • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail. • Computer literacy and the ability to learn new applications.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of a Degree in Nursing • Must be certified under the Nursing and Midwifery Council • Must have a valid Nurse’s Pin • At least two years working experience
