Purpose: The Volunteership exists in PELUM Uganda to implement ASNRM programmes by offering technical expertise in Agroecology and Sustainable Natural Resources Management in line with PELUM’s strategy and policies so as to contribute to realising PELUM’s goal.

Participate in the development and implementation of projects in Agroecology & Sustainable Natural Resources Management including new programme concepts and ideas.
Participate in the strategic review of the Strategic Plan and ASNRM programmes to ensure their continued relevance in a changing environment.
Support research on development, application and modification of ASNRM models.
Develop and implement the ASNRM programme annual/quarterly work plans and participate in programme planning and review meetings.
Implement programme activities in compliance with agreed guidelines/standards and proactively seek input from relevant substantive internal experts.
Prepare periodic programme reports in line with the donor requirements in liaison with the ASNRM Manager.
