Role Purpose:


Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and machinery in the garment factory to ensure smooth production operations, minimal downtime, and compliance with safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:


Diagnose, repair, and maintain sewing machines, cutting machines, boilers, compressors, embroidery/printing equipment, and factory power systems.
Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and ensure efficient machine performance.
Install wiring, panels, and electrical connections for new machines and production lines.
Monitor energy use and recommend efficiency improvements.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, spare parts, and maintenance schedules.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and train staff on safe machine usage.


Qualifications & Skills:


Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years’ experience as an electrician in manufacturing (garment/textile industry preferred).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and manuals.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid electrical license (added advantage).


Work Conditions:


Factory-based role, with exposure to noise, dust, and heat.
May require overtime or weekend shifts for urgent breakdowns.
