Duties and Responsibilities

Planning, directing and controlling Finance and Accounting Services
Financial controller of the County Assembly;
Supervising, Mentoring and coaching All the Officers in the Finance and Planning Directorate;
Overseeing accounting for County Assembly Service funds as per the PFMA (2012);
Monitoring implementation of financial controls system;
Preparation of financial statements for County Assembly

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
Must have served as a Principal Finance Officer or Chief Accountant in public service or a large corporation;
Must be conversant with government financial management systems.
Over six (6) years work experience;
Certificate in Leadership Course from a recognized institution lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
Member of a professional body.
