Requirements

Grade 9
2–3 years’ relevant experience as per KPA’s below
Code EC Driver’s license + Valid PRDP PERMIT
Valid truck mounted crane certificate
Valid PRDP Dangerous Goods Permit
Valid Rigging and Slinging Certificate
Aerial platform up to 18 meter certificate

Key Performance Areas

Interacting with the Engineering Stores and checking allocated components and materials against job cards prior to commencing with loading.
Providing guidelines and specific instructions to personnel with respect to the preparation of work site for major/minor works.
Performs specific tasks associated with the operation of heavy and/or specialized vehicles and equipment during construction, repair and maintenance activities.
Ensure that vehicles are Roadworthy.
Ensure Equipment must be operationally and safety compliant.
Rigging and activities are executed in accordance with laid down instructions conforming to the occupational health and safety procedures.
Completes internal transactional documentation (e.g. time sheets, log sheet, progress and productivity field report, etc.) and related forms (vehicle checklist).
