  • Change is a process, sometimes it may be a threat or an invasion. Be yourself and professional all the time ,give yourself time to learn the system... and the environment. Give your colleagues time to discover the truth of your character as you work they will change the way the percive you today with time.Do right they will accommodate you with time. more

  • Please don't resign. Just kill your emotions and appreciate their decisions. Find out why they are not happy about you being there and work on it... wisely. If you happen to be in a supervisory position, then involve them in decision making. Let them know the value of their contributions towards the development of the company. Given them that opportunity will cause them to open up to you. Don't forget to take your ego aside throughout the process. more

  • Pls don't resign unless you have an alternative.. secondly, try to reach an understanding with at least one of ur co-workers.. everyone can not... dislike u unless you have a problem u ain't noticing.. but if after all this checks and things still don't get a little ok.. then u can resign for ur peace of mind.. remember, prayer can also go along way.. as the heart of man belongs to God more

  • Focus on learning the job and you will find on just about any job those personalitiesare there. Don't join in. If you don't understand something or... it is not clear ask questions and do the BEST job you can. Remember treat everyone with respect and kindness while at work. Once off the clock leave the job there and those folks. more

  • What does it mean you don't "cooperate"? Making things difficult for the other workers show a narcissistic immaturity on your part. You are the new... guy. Play along. If you have ideas for ways to do something different, go to the boss and suggest it, don't implement it. There are sometimes reasons you can't see as to why things are being done the way they are. The more you make things harder for your co-workers, the less likely they'll want you around. And the more likely you could find yourself out of a job. But remember, no matter how things work out, you are there to work, you are not joining a sorority.

  • Maybe you could try a different approach by being a little open minded, meaning try getting to know them in short bursts without being forceful and... demanding. Be gentle and remember their names and what stands out about them to you. It may not be that they are not interested in you, it could be that they just don't know you. Try making them laugh and being lighthearted. This could help ease any discomfort they may feel around you. They could also feel some type of way about you too. Making your coworkers feel valued, appreciated and at ease around you can possibly break up the discomfort a little and possibly make the atmosphere more pleasurable and easy going. Since you love your job, creating an easy going atmosphere is icing on the cake. Once a positive, inviting, fun, easy going atmosphere is created and as time passes, natural rapport will be built naturally with you as the catalyst.  more
