Duties and Responsibilities 

Taking history of the patient
Conducting both individual and group psychological tests and assessment and providing appropriate therapy.
Developing treatment plans
Identifying patients with social psychological problem, providing psycho education to clients, families and caregivers
Prescribing intervention and possible referrals
Testing the efficacy of both psychological and biological interventions to promote the wellbeing of patient
Ensure use of all Hospital’s automated systems, as appropriate, including the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS)
Any other responsibility assigned by the supervisor in the delivery of care

Minimum Academic Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in either Medical Psychology, Health Psychology or any other relevant equivalent
qualification in a health-related field from a recognized institution.
Registration with relevant professional body
Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or a relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized
institution will be an added advantage.
