The candidate should have either a PhD in the relevant discipline or a Master’s degree in English language/literature or a Master’s degree in Education specializing in English language/literature or any related field from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
S/he should have a Bachelor’s degree in Education or any other related field from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
S/he should have a minimum of three (03) years teaching experience and two (02) publications.
S/he should have evidence of scholarship and research experience in the area.
S/he should have evidence of engagements and recognition with the professional and other communities.
S/he should have a high degree of commitment and integrity
