Abraham Tamirat Gizaw is an accomplished public health expert with a multidisciplinary background. He holds a PhD in Public Health (Health Communication and Health Behavior) and has extensive experience in teaching, research, and community service. Abraham has mentored over 40 Master’s students and currently supervises four PhD fellows. He has published more than 71 peer-reviewed articles and contributed to policy briefs, book chapters, and teaching materials. His research focuses on global health issues, including climate change, maternal and child health, cervical cancer, HIV/AIDS, and health communication. Abraham has received national and program-level awards and actively leads research projects as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator.
