Norvik Enterprises Limited is looking for an IT Systems Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; and monitoring network performance

To provide support for all computer and printer hardware, CCTV and all applications used by NEL as well as configuration, upgrades and maintenance of these.
Troubleshooting and maintenance of server systems (Linux and Microsoft), LAN and WAN solutions
To implement and enforce internal computer systems security.
To administer Domain controller, Active directory, Firewalls and routers.
To implement and maintain up-to-date backups for server and all applications
To test and implement software patches for all applications, including third party applications
To build, implement, periodically test and review disaster recovery plans for all ICT systems and infrastructure
Advise the procurement of Software, Hardware and other ICT accessories.
To maintain comprehensive and updated documentation of all ICT systems and infrastructure in use by the company
Provide technical support for both hardware and software issue our user’s encounter
Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems
Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
Create and verify backups of data, respond to and resolve help desk requests
Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
Review application logs
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Perform any other functions as may from time to time be assigned by the supervisor
