JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural Engineer with 15–20 years of proven experience in civil and structural engineering. The successful candidate should have a strong background in building design, construction supervision, and project execution. This role requires a seasoned professional with excellent technical expertise, leadership ability, and a track record of delivering high-quality, innovative, and sustainable solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Lead the planning, design, and supervision of civil and structural engineering projects.
Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
Conduct site inspections and resolve structural and technical challenges.
Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.


REQUIREMENTS


B.Sc./M.Sc. in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field).
Minimum of 15 years’ professional experience in civil/structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
COREN registration or equivalent professional certification is mandatory.
Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (e.g. ETABS, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and regulatory requirements in Nigeria.
