Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill a vacancy in the post of Coordinating Director (Development Services) in the Parliamentary service of Ghana.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide strategic direction and oversight of the departments of estates, works and facilities management • Develop and implement policies, procedures and standards for the effective management of the physical infrastructure and facilities of parliament • Ensure alignment of the activities of the departments of estates, works and facilities with the strategic objectives of parliament • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards • Coordinate and monitor the progress of ongoing projects to ensure alignment with projects goals and objectives • Optimize the use of resources across the departments of estates, works and facilities management • Foster a collaborative and high performance work environment across the departments of estates, works and facilities management. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards pertaining to development services • Oversee the implementation of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a decent and safe working environment • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the clerk to Parliament
Qualification Required & Experience
• A good first degree in Land economy, architecture, building technology, estate management, engineering or any relevant social science discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 12 years post-qualification work experience plus at least 3 years in a position analogous to Director in public service institution. OR • A good first degree and a Master's Degree in land economy, architecture, building technology, estate management, engineering or any relevant social science discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 6 years post-qualification work experience plus at least 3 years in a position analogous to Director in a public service institution • An applicant shall be a member in good standing of a recognized professional body in the related field

Age Limit: Except when an applicant has been in the employment of a public service institution or state agency, the applicant should not be above 55 years of age on the date of appointment to the post.
