Key Responsibilities

Formulation and implementation of HR strategies and policies to support the overall Corporate strategy.
Forecasting workforce requirements, trends, variances and aligning them to the available budgetary allocations.
Provide the Authority with an optimum number of well trained, appropriately skilled and highly motivated staff to meet its objectives.
Drive a high performance culture.
Maintain ethics amongst staff through employee relations and discipline management.
Ensure compliance to internal policies and legal standards.
Develop and maintain competitive remuneration and terms and conditions of service.
Facilitate implementation of corporate initiatives in the Division: Audit, Integrity, QMS and Risk Management.
Drive initiatives to improve ethics, culture and facilitate change management.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on HR matters.
Provide regular reports and HR related advice to the KRA Management and Board of Directors.

Academic Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree Human Resource Management or related field from a recognized institution.
Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
Professional Qualifications/ Membership to Professional Bodies
Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP(K)).
Membership in a recognized HR professional body

Work experience

Minimum of 10 years work experience in HR practice with at least five (5) years at a senior management level in a comparable organization.
