Job Description:


Rigging studies and risk assessments of all complicated lifts.
Supervise rigging team.
Manage all rigging and crane activities onsite.
Clearly define scope of work.
Following the planning and ensuring that equipment is in good working condition and ensuring correct equipment is used for the correct jobs.
Ensuring personal and team workplace practices are safe, efficient and maintain a high safety standard throughout all work practices.
Inspecting rigging equipment for any defects before use.


Qualifications:


Grade 12/Technical Trade Specific N3
Rigger Trade Certificate
Crane Inspection Training
AAP SIMM inspectors course (advantageous)
Advance Scaffolding Erection (advantageous)
Advanced Scaffolding Inspection (advantageous)
