Qualifications/Requirements


Is responsible for diagnosing, preventing, and treating oral health conditions to improve patients’ dental hygiene and overall well-being. This role involves performing routine check-ups, restorative procedures, and educating patients on proper oral care


Academic qualification:


Bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from a recognized university
Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical  Practitioners and Dentists Council.
Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
At least one year of post-internship experience in either a public or     private hospital.
Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices
Knowledge of healthcare policies, documentation, and reporting procedures.
Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information Systems).


Desirable competencies


Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of the laws of Kenya, regulations, guidelines, and health schemes.
Excellent report writing skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
