Description:

The Junior IT Support Specialist will ensure that end users receive optimal IT support in a timely manner. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day technical support to the end-users at all levels. This position will work closely with the Senior IT Support Specialist to provide end-user IT support.
Overview of Duties:

To set up electronic equipment and to facilitate data collection at the clinic and community area.- To perform daily set up of electronic equipment.
- To ensure that electronic equipment is safe and secure always.
- To ensure compliance with the study SOP’s for data entry and data management including accuracy, consistency and patient confidentiality.
- To facilitate verification and registration of all eligible participants using the approved devices.


To troubleshoot IT problems related electronic data collection at the mobile sites.- To ensure that all electronic data collection devices and computers are well functioning.
- To troubleshoot any IT related problems that may arise during data collection.


To act as the IT liaison to ensure smooth flow of participant related procedures.- To help resolve any bottleneck issues that may be encountered clinic procedures.


Work in a multidisciplinary team and with DOH Staff to ensure good partnership between AHRI and DOH- Attend relevant meetings, implement decisions and evaluate outcome.
- Ensure regular liaison with all relevant stakeholders and maintain good working relationships.
- Ensure adherence to AHRI occupational health policies.


Carry out any other Duties as directed by the line manager- Work closely with the line manager and carry out duties as directed.
- Report to line manager new developments to ensure improvement between AHRI, the community and DoH.

Minimum Qualification
- Professional information technology certificates such as A+, N+, INET MOUS, ITILv3 foundation, etc. (a diploma, degree is advantageous
- Valid driver's license.


Minimum Experience
- At least 1 years’ experience in desktop/helpdesk support or similar position
- Experience working with all Microsoft technologies.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Strong experience with DHCP, DNS and General Networking
- Strong Microsoft Windows operating systems and Apple Mac OSX experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop products including Office, Office 365


Advantageous
- Linux skills and experience
- Diploma in Information Technology
