Job Purpose
• To ensure effective and efficient human resource management practices in the company
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in determining the human resource requirements of the company and make necessary arrangements to meet them • Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR information system in the company • Participate in the implementation of HR policies, plans and strategies • Provide technical support on operational, administrative and HR management procedures/systems • Assist in coordinating the selection, hiring and recruitment process • Prepare training plan by collaborating with Line Managers to identify specific departmental needs • Assist in developing, implementing and evaluating training programmes to address staff performance gaps • Contribute to the establishment of robust systems and processes to manage the onboarding processes • Support in managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance • Provide career guidance and counselling services to staff • Assist in maintaining employee records according to policy and legal requirements. • Assist in coordinating staff welfare, health and safety matters
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. A Master's degree or professional HR certificate (e.g. CIHRM, SHRM, CIPD, PHR) is an advantage • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in HR management preferably in the private sector • In-depth knowledge of the Labour Law in Ghana and HR best practices • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
