Expertise required:


Graduate degree in education with coursework emphasizing teaching, learning, curriculum development, and school leadership.
An active teaching license from a state, province, or governmental authority and MS (6-8) and/or HS (9/12) certification.
Exemplary record of MS and/or HS teaching experience, including a minimum of 5 years of experience in schools offering an American standards-based education, preferably in an international setting.
Experience developing engaging student-led learning experiences where students question, problem-solve, and explore relevant, real-life problems.
An extensive record of engagement and collaboration as a teacher-leader in professional learning, integration of learning principles, curriculum development, standards-based assessment design, and technology integration.
Solid understanding of pedagogy and instructional approaches, curriculum design, and assessment:

Conceptual inquiry


Practical knowledge & applied conceptual understanding of the key shifts inherent in the implementation of at least 3 or more of the following frameworks at the secondary level (Grades 6-12): CCSS-math & ELA, NGSS, C3, ACTFL, NCCAS, ISTE, SHAPE America
Proficiency with the use of learning management systems, digital resource curation and research/citation tools, as well as the most current AI strategies and approaches, is desirable.
