We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused custodian to ensure our office premises are well-maintained and inviting at all times. The ideal candidate will be attentive, dependable, and capable of handling cleaning duties with minimal supervision.

YOU'LL GET TO


Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the office premises, including lobbies, restrooms, work areas, meeting rooms, and customer waiting areas.
Greet clients and assist in creating a welcoming environment upon entry into the office.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and carpets.
Dust and clean office furniture, glass partitions, windows, all surfaces etc.
Clean and disinfect restrooms and restock supplies (soap, toilet paper, hand towels).
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Monitor and report any facility maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, lighting problems).
Ensure rest areas, kitchenettes, and other shared spaces remain clean and hygienic.
Assist with setting up spaces for meetings or events, when required.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Lock and unlock doors and secure premises as required.
Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a sanitary environment.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR


High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in janitorial, cleaning, or custodial work (office/commercial/industrial environment preferred).
Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery.
Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Good time management skills.
Basic understanding of cleaning products and safe usage practices.
Good communication skills.
