PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of I.T – The System Developer/ Data Analyst will be responsible for: -

Developing solutions that support the business decisions, process improvement and client centricity through data analytics.
Delivery of cost-effective systems’ solutions and within the set budget while meeting agreed SLAs and the Company’s business requirements

PRIMARY Duties &... Responsibilities

Develop full cycle application and process automation system as per business requirements
Offer first line Technical Support for all business and database systems.
Develop API applications that can fetch data from various social media (twitter, Facebook) to display on our company website.
Liaise with software vendors to resolve systems issues or escalations.
Serve as the technical lead for all business systems deployments, upgrades, administration, and maintenance.
Integrate third party systems/applications with business core systems
Prepare, communicate and maintain projects and test plans.
Maintain system security and integrity in line with company standards and governance.
Offer training to end users on new systems and updated products.
Pull and analyze data from the business systems and generate meaningful Pivot tables and trend analysis as per business needs.
Develop data models that facilitate continual examination of the business processes and environment.
Analyze and interpret complex business data required from multiple sources.
Conceptualize, design and build reports for internal and external distribution.
Validate reports and analyze data against internal and external standards.
Ensure quality assurance for all data and report requirements.
Conduct regular information-sharing sessions with key business representatives as required.
Manage and execute data mapping, cleaning, validating, transformation and loading.
Any other duty as may be assigned by the management from time to time

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or I.T related field.
At least 3 years of progressive experience as a Systems Developer/ Data Analyst.
Professional Certifications; OCP, MCSE
Experience in Windows, Linux, Citrix Applications, SQL Scripting/ Programming languages and tools
System testing knowledge

Required skills and Competencies

Ability to develop digital system applications and integrate them with business Core systems.
Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to details
Excellent Communication skills (both verbal and written)
Good understanding of Insurance operations more

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Reporting to the Assistant Manager – Life Underwriting – The Policy Administrator will play a key role in servicing corporate group life clientele with the aim of retaining existing business and introduction of new schemes.
PRIMARY Duties & Responsibilities

Evaluate and Analyze insurance applications against set criteria to determine the client's risk to the... business.
Timely recommendations on client's application and advise on their approval or rejection based on set criteria.
Contact relevant stakeholders to obtain relevant information required in client's application.
Prepare competitive quotations in line with the company provided guidelines and maintain a register of the conversion rate provided.
Issue policy endorsements, billing and updating of scheme reconciliation schedules.
Timely circulation of medical compliance registers.
Perform timely and accurate scheme reconciliation of reinsurance accounts.
Observe strict adherence to cash and carry rule and/or company credit control policy.
Communication of renewal terms to the clients and/or broker.
Preparation of medical letters for new entrants of schemes.
Perform accurate and timely premium allocation as per company set TAT’s.
Medical Underwriting.
Prepare reinsurance schedules for scheme movements.
Provide quality service to all clients and maintain detailed records of policies underwritten and decisions made.
Respond to all client’s queries and ensure all issues raised are solved within the set timelines.
Process all relevant payments.
Any other duty as may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’ degree in insurance related field
ACII/ IIK qualification
Over 3 years of experience in a similar Life Insurance role

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Reporting to the Financial Accountant – The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of payments and related reports.
PRIMARY Duties & Responsibilities

Timely preparation of monthly management accounts
Preparation, submission and ensuring compliance with statutory returns and regulations-Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual... returns to IRA and KRA and other bodies as may be required from time to time.
Ensure completion of all General Ledger accounts reconciliations as per agreed timelines.
Accuracy and completeness of monthly bank reconciliations.
Prepare periodical journal reports while ensuring all monies received are receipted, all system payments are posted and updated, and all unpaid receipts are reversed.
Prepare financial statements for audit and preparation of audit file.
Preparation of tax schedules and payment of taxes- withholding VAT, withholding Tax Rent, withholding tax professional fees, withholding tax commissions, Premium tax, Training levy, PHCF.
Update monthly receipting schedules - Mpesa file, Bank order files - All bank accounts.
Check and authorize payment vouchers within the set limits.
Maintain and reconcile petty cash.
Timely correspondences with the banks especially on bank balance confirmation, opening bank accounts and updating bank mandates.
Preparation and maintenance of Fixed assets register.
Any other duty as may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or related field.
CPA II qualifications.
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Computer Literacy.
