In preparation for the launch of one of our book projects featuring Women Leaders, we are looking for TWO persons to serve as Support Volunteer Ushers in a Book Launch scheduled for JUNE 21 2025 in Nairobi.
The launch will feature prominent corporate women leaders and will provide an excellent opportunity to network and well as build your experience.


Role Description


To provide... ushering services during the upcoming Book Launch to be held in Nairobi
To be on time for the activities. Ushers need to check in and be ready to work before briefing time.
To represent ZionPearl Publishers in a professional and friendly manner at all times. Ushers will serve, and make the guest feel welcome and at ease.
To adhere to the required dress code while ushering. All volunteers’ attire should be clean, fresh and neatly pressed.


Qualifications

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:


Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and in a courteous manner. Candidates with background training in communication are highly encouraged to apply
Ability to serve and usher guests. Previous experience in serving and ushering is highly valuable
Ability to deal effectively with co-workers and the general public.
Ability to deal effectively and successfully with stressful and sometimes difficult situations.
Ability to grasp procedural techniques, guidelines, regulations, and physical layout.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to read theatre tickets
Must be age 18 or older.
Dependable
The Person Must be within Nairobi to make it easy for them to take this up.
Must be available immediately. more
