A DAY... IN THE LIFE
You will be responsible for accountability and achieving the agreed upon Key Account targets and KPI’s.

Planning business development strategy with customers, analyzing performance of the key outlets covered and in line with channel and brand performance matrix, proposing suitable activation doors for respective brands.
Developing, negotiating, and implementing Joint Business Agreements (JBA’s).
Ensuring effective category management & merchandising in all key outlets is executed.
Managing adequate stock cover in all outlets and ensure proper brand assortment (must have SKUs') as well as planning & running promotions effectively.
Keeping abreast with competitor intelligence and generate reports and updates on all competitor activities like displays, pricing, new products/brand’s introductions.
Effectively handle customer complaints, ensure proper invoicing and timely deliveries.
Managing customer enquiries, managing debts and customer credit terms.
Ensuring company product availability in all outlets, managing listing of new products, organizing new product sampling to create awareness and initiate activities to drive sales.
Managing customers credit limits, credit days, and payment modes.
Coaching and developing your team members. 

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or any business-related course.
3-5 Years’ experience in a similar role.
Prior experience in e-commerce.
Prior management experience is a plus.
Prior sales or marketing experience in the medical space is a plus.
Proactive and assertive with strong relational and networking skills.

About the role

Category Management

Ensure the updates of planogram, visuals & artworks, claims, is well rolled out and implemented in store.
Ensure proper expression of the dermo cosmetics category in store.
Craft category recommendation to educate stakeholders.
Making analysis on brand (and competition) visibility in store to adapt and improve together with the local brand and commercial teams.
Track stock levels in store and work in close collaboration with the sales team to ensure all stores are well furbished.

Requirements

A Graduate with a degree in sales, marketing, or any scientific related field
Have 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
A strong scientific background is an added advantage.
Prior training and sales & marketing experience in the medical space is an added advantage.
Proactive and assertive with strong relational and networking skills.
Affinity to beauty and healthcare related topics, good knowledge of the pharmacy universe.

Ensure right stock available at the right time to meet the company ambitions.
Manage the sales forecasts quality.
Manage the global monthly sales forecast process.
Build the baseline forecast.

Requirements

A Graduate with a Business/ Statistics/ Economics/Supply chain degree from a recognized University.
Have at least 2 years’ relevant work experience in Planning in an FMCG environment.

L'Oréal East Africa is looking for an experienced Medical Representative to join the L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty. The role will be based in Eldoret and will be responsible for establishing new business and growing the existing LDB business in Eldoret and Western Kenya by building relationships and partnerships with targeted Healthcare providers and other stakeholders in Hospitals... and Pharmacies.

Generating prescriptions in the assigned geographic areas by identifying leads, educating prospects on products through calls, training, and product presentations as well as providing existing customers with exceptional support.
Creating and increasing awareness of our brands to targeted HealthCare providers.
Attend congresses, training sessions, meetings to represent the brand.
Organizing appointments and meetings with doctors HealthCare Providers on a one on one and formal setting.
Analyze the territory/market potential, track sales, and status reports prioritizing territories and prospective clients as well as address problem areas.
Identifying and establishing new business.
