Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Accountant with advanced expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to join our dynamic team. The primary focus of this role is "QuickBooks Online clean ups" for our diverse client base. The ideal candidates will work closely with our Team Leader in the Nigeria Office and Office Team to ensure seamless processes, accurate financial records, and timely... project completion. The ideal candidates must have bookkeeping experience with U.S. based clients using QuickBooks Online (QBO).  

Key Responsibilities:


Perform in-depth cleanups and reconciliations in QuickBooks Online, ensuring the accuracy of historical and current financial data.
Troubleshoot and resolve QBO-related discrepancies, errors, and inefficiencies.
Collaborate directly with the team leader to prioritize and to gather necessary financial information and provide updates on progress.
Maintain and improve QuickBooks Online chart of accounts, and overall financial organization.
Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks as needed, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and best practices.


Preferred Skills:


QuickBooks Online Advanced experience.
Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.


Required Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Professional certification preferred but not required ( ACA, ACCA etc ).
3+ years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, with a focus on "cleanup" and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of US accounting principles and practices (GAAP knowledge is a must).
Experience working with a US-based accounting firm is a plus .
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal .
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Key Responsibilities:


Manage all day-to-day accounting transactions
Prepare accurate budget forecasts
Publish timely financial statements
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely and accurate bank transactions
Prepare monthly payroll and generate payslips
Compute taxes and handle tax returns/filings
Maintain accurate balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Provide reports on financial health, performance, and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and maintain proper documentation
Uphold confidentiality of financial data and ensure regular data backups
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
Handle all statutory filings and corporate compliance including NAFDAC, SON, etc.


Requirements:


Must be honest, trustworthy, and highly dependable
Proven experience working as an Accountant in a bakery setting is required
Strong understanding of accounting regulations and GAAP principles
Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Advanced MS Excel skills for financial tracking and data analysis
Solid knowledge of general ledger functions
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
ICAN certification or progress toward it is an added advantage
Minimum of 3 years accounting experience required
Must reside in or around Sango-Ota, Ogun State, candidates in close proximity to Sango Ota shall be considered. 


Remuneration: #250,000 - #350,000 (depending on candidates experience)

The AGM will work closely with the MD/CEO to enhance operational efficiency, develop business strategies, and foster sustainable growth.

 Key Responsibilities  : 


Leadership & Team Management : Lead and manage a team of employees across production, distribution, and marketing departments. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Business Development : Identify and develop new business opportunities within Sango Ota Ogun State and Nigeria at large to drive company growth. Leverage market insights to expand customer base and explore new revenue streams.
Operational Oversight : Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all business functions, focusing on maximizing production efficiency and quality control.
Strategic Planning : Assist in developing and executing business strategies aimed at improving profitability, market share, and operational performance.
Financial Management : Assist in budgeting, cost management, and profitability analysis. Support in monitoring financial performance to ensure business objectives are met.
Marketing & Sales : Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop campaigns that increase brand visibility and drive sales.
Process Improvement : Identify and implement improvements in production processes and operational workflows to optimize output and reduce costs.
Customer Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure high customer satisfaction and smooth business operations.
Compliance & Safety : Ensure that the company complies with all local regulations and industry standards. Oversee health, safety, and environmental protocols.


Requirements :


Proven experience (at least 3 to 5 years) in managing a small business within the production, manufacturing, and marketing sector , precisely the food processing Industry .
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
Solid experience in business development, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities in Sango Ota area and the Nigerian market at large .
Knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and profit analysis.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Familiarity with the Nigerian business landscape and local regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).


 Salary Range :

The salary range for this role is between ₦350,000 to ₦500,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
