JOB SUMMARY


This role encompasses all aspects of Centre management and effective maximization of income through useful management frameworks and asset control. Additional responsibilities of this role included budget control, overseeing leasing contracts, procurement services, management of third-party service contracts and directs maintenance procedures. This role also involves the... development and implementation of center policies, procedures and ensures that all operations are in accordance with established health and safety regulations. It also guarantees services provided are of acceptable quality at the least possible cost, while providing management with all relevant feedback.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Centre Management:


Monitor market activities regarding tenant movement, new developments, major vacancies, and other landlord strategies.
Attends meetings/functions related to the successful operation of the Centre.
Initiates proposals for refurbishments and oversee implementation.
Maintain hands-on control of projects.
Review the building status/grade annually and maintain the standards within those grades.
Ensures the Center is well managed, safe and clean.


Client Reporting:


Provides accurate information to client in agreed format timeously.
Analysis of monthly income/expenses.
Monitors turnover rentals.
Analysis of operating costs for every quarter vis-a-vis approved forecasts.

      Planning & Budgeting:

Minimum 10 years of professional work experience, 5 of which should be experience in Centre management position in a large retail business.
