Key Responsibilities
• Prioritize safety and environmental protection in all road construction and maintenance activities • Lead the design, planning and execution of road infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget • Oversee contractor performance, ensuring work adheres to project timelines, quality standards and safety regulations • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules and documentation to ensure smooth execution • Conduct regular inspections of civil works, including earthworks, pavement structures, excavations, foundation, drainage and concrete works • Oversee electrical works associated with road infrastructure • Ensure compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirements • Maintain accurate project documentation and implement control and follow up processes
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor' Degree in Civil Engineering • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing road construction and maintenance projects • Proven expertise in project tendering, evaluation and execution • Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, design and construction management • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, Project) • Valid Ghana Driver's License

• Oversee the maintenance, repair and upgrades of te terminal's electrical network to ensure uninterrupted power supply • Supervise the operations of the backup power plant, ensuring its readiness and reliability at all times • Lead solar electrification projects from the design phase through implementation, ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability • Ensure compliance with all electrical safety regulations, standards and best practices • Design and analyze electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and communication networks • Calculate electrical loads, fault levels and ensure electrical designs meet all relevant standards • Prepare and maintain electrical design documentation, including specifications, drawings and schedules • Conduct energy-efficient lighting design, incorporating daylighting techniques where possible • Stay up-to-date with relevant codes and standards, including National and international construction codes and sustainability rating tools such as Green Star • Deliver high-quality written and oral communication, including technical reports and presentations
