PhD/Doctorate in Management Information Systems, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management or equivalent degree qualification in a relevant area from a recognised/ accredited university.
Master of Science in Management Information Systems, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management degree or a related area from a recognized/accredited university.
Bachelor of Management Information Systems, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management degree or a relevant field from a recognized/accredited University.
A minimum of thirty-two (32 equivalent publication points as a Lecturer/Senior Research Fellow of which twenty-four (24) should be from refereed journal articles.
Supervised at least two (2) postgraduate students.
Attracted research funds as a Lecturer/ Research Fellow.
Attended and contributed at academic conferences, seminars and workshops.
Evidence of being a member of a relevant professional body.
Evidence of leadership (administrative experience, active participation in departmental /school/university/national/international activities).

The Accounts Clerk will assist the Receivables division in the day-to-day operations by performing the clerical works, including invoicing and receipting, recording of transactions, reviewing the supporting documents and filing, updating the cheque register for customer payments, Reconciling accounts receivables and monitoring debtors. Duties and responsibilities

Accounting and Reporting


Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data.
Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients billing issues
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
Keep track of customer debtors and initiate collection efforts.
Responsible for processing highly sensitive and confidential documents on a daily basis
Enforce internal controls within the Finance Department
Any other duties as may be assigned.

Diploma in business-related course.
A minimum of C (Plain) in K.C.S.E., with at least C in languages.
1-2 years prior experience in a similar job in a busy environment
