We are looking for a talented Station Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our studio, ensuring efficient and effective management of projects, teams, and resources. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities

Manage studio operations, including programme or project... scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting in alignment with the overall organizational vision and objective.
Supervise, mentor and train team members, providing guidance and support as needed
Ensure high-quality output that meets quality and ethics.
Respond, attend to commercial and partnership briefs and opportunities, create client workplan and exceed client expectations.
Develop and implement studio processes and procedures, optimizing efficiency and productivity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and marketing
Generating ideas for on-air contents and programmes that would underline green growth, sustainability, and environmental conservation to attract the right audience
Possess excellent editorial judgement,
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to continuously improve studio operations.
Develop strategies to grow and maintain studio audience through marketing, promotion, and programme engagement.
Oversee technical infrastructure of the studio, including broadcast equipment and IT systems.
Avoid, handle, and manage technical crisis through effective problem-solving skills
Develop a studio policy for clientele engagement

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, journalism, communications, and any other related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in a studio management or related role
Proven record of accomplishment of successful project management and team leadership
Excellent communication, organizational, forward planning, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines

JOB SUMMARY
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is directly responsible for developing and executing the internal operational strategies necessary to achieve the goals and objectives of Green Growth Africa. The COO will ensure the internal daily planning, implementation, management and oversight of the organisation, and reports to the Executive Director.

Provides day-to-day operational leadership and support to staff that mirrors the mission including planning, formulating, and achieving short- and long-term goals   
Sources for grant and partnership opportunities, develops and manages partnerships and grants   
Manages programme development, resourcing, implementation, and reporting including Programme Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (PMEL)   
Responsible for overseeing budgets, financial reporting, and fiscal accountability, including monitoring and improvement of financial goals   
Develops, manages, executes, and improves strategic plan for the organisation and has ongoing strategic conversations and collaboration to the Executive Director with regular data and reporting

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of five (5) years of operations and leadership experience of full-time progressively complex and responsible related work experience directly involved with operations, business, development, finance or related areas. An NGO work-related environment is preferred.

ROLES

Operation and coordination of Green Growth Africa’s programmes and initiatives
Correspondence with partners and other stakeholders including programme evaluation and report writing.

SKILL SET REQUIRED

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

A minimum of a master’s degree is required while a Phd degree, fellowships, among other graduate training will be an added advantage
Given the global dynamics of the workplace, excellent performance in the role might not be based on a discipline, therefore, applicants from any discipline may apply. However, Business Administration, Operational Management, among other disciplines might be well suited.

The position is based in Ibadan, Nigeria. Please note that successful applicants may work remotely when need arises. 
The work duties are from Monday to Friday but would require meetings during weekends. However, the meetings are conducted remotely.
