We are a leading pharmaceutical distributor in Kenya, seeking to hire two Medical Representatives to join our team. The main role of the medical representatives is to promote and sell our pharmaceutical products to healthcare providers among other duties as listed below:
Duties

Increase brand awareness and build a relationship with prospective and existing customers.
Ensure territory and... administrative systems/processes are maintained and updated to ensure an accurate record of territory is always available.
Ensure that proper communication is done to the relevant stakeholders.
Act as key liaison between doctors, hospitals, and medical staff.
Effectively implement set sales and marketing strategies.
Work with other Company representatives to ensure product supply is uninterrupted at the pharmacy level.
Ensure timely payment and collections on sales made.
Analyze client needs, find gaps in the market, and offer effective solutions to bridge this gap.
Track and provide regular reports on individual performance including market intelligence.
Attend regular training programmed for updating medical as well as pharmaceutical knowledge.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree/diploma in pharmacy/biochemistry or any related medical/science course.
 At least two (2) years of experience as a medical representative.
Exceptional communication, presentation and selling skills.
Excellent customer relationship skills.
Candidates with prior experience in handling anesthesia and psychiatry products are highly encouraged to apply.

Duties

Meet specified number of doctors by working in a pre-planned territory that is decided with the help of a monthly planner.
Bring new customers and maintain a long-lasting business relationship with existing customers.
Visiting retail chemists to make sure that the company’s brand is available.
Attend regular training programmed for updating medical as well as pharmaceutical knowledge.
Attend regular sales review meetings.
Provide regular reports to the manager as per the Company policy.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy or any related science
At least 2 years of experience marketing Anesthesia and psychiatry products.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Should have good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to deal with a wide range of customers
Enrolment with Pharmacy and Poisons Board will be an added advantage
