RESPONSIBILITIES


Ensure Human Resources policies are implemented consistently and the core values of the Hospital are upheld.
Maintain good relationships among staff.
Develop and manage the HR department's budget in liaison with the Finance Department.
Implementation of policies, procedures and standards in industrial relations and welfare in the Hospital and ensure compliance with the... labour laws.
Ensure that quality, environment, health and safety programs are cascaded to all levels.
Develop human resource plans and strategies aligned to the Hospital's business strategy
Develop and implement departmental plans, policies, norms and procedures in liaison with the Hospital Management Team.
Advise on employee relations and administration policies and strategies to maximize staff involvement and commitment while minimizing conflict.
Develop and ensure implementation of reward management and remuneration policies and strategies that attract, retain and motivate employees to higher productivity
Provide Human Resource Consultancy Services to the managers and supervisors in the units and departments assigned.
Maintain accurate human resource records to ensure accuracy and easy retrieval in the Departments or Units assigned.
Participate in the coordination of training programmes.
Participate in coordinating the performance management process in the Units.
Monitor and develop regular statistical information regarding workforce requirements, staff turnover, leave, absence, etc.
Monitor the application of procedures, e.g. discipline, grievance handling to ensure fairness and equity


QUALIFICATION


Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, from a recognized institution;
Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP-K)/ Higher Diploma/Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Valid membership certificate of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM);
Certificate in computer applications; and
Working experience of three (3) years in relevant field.
Experience in working in a mission hospital is an added advantage more

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability.
Provide information and advice to patients regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
Maintain records, such as pharmacy files, inventories, control records for narcotics, or controlled... drugs.
Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and dentists, by calculating, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, or oversee these activities.
Plan, implement, or maintain procedures for packaging, or labeling pharmaceuticals, according to policy and legal requirements, to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal.
Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions
Order and purchase pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs, maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly

QUALIFICATION / SKILLS

Must be a holder of a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a reputable institution.
The applicant MUST HAVE 2 years experience working in a hospital or a busy health facility.
Excellent use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Good communication skills (written and oral) and etiquette.
Customer focused and always willing to go the extra mile.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing radiological procedures by operating complex medical instruments such as CT scanners, X-ray, ultrasound, and several other imaging devices.

Assisting with diagnostic imaging services in Theatres.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Bachelors in Diagnostic Radiography
Diploma (Higher Diploma in Ultrasound) in Medical Imaging Sciences from recognized and registered Medical Institution.
Must be a registered member of Radiation Protection Board.
Two (2) years work experience.
Computer literate.
Good clinical skills and judgment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare meetings with potential customers to explain the hospital services and answering customers’ questions and escalating complex issues to the relevant departments as needed.
Present cost-benefit analyses to the Hospital Management Team (HMT) for prospective and existing customers to determine the most suitable services.
Analyzing competitors’ services to determine... trends in the market, threats and opportunities.
Develop strategies and tactics to market our services and drive qualified traffic to our hospital.
Develop strategic relationships and partnership with key corporates, government agencies, insurances and vendors

Come up with digital marketing strategies and be in-charge of digital marketing for the hospital.

 QUALIFICATION/SKILLS

Diploma in Sales and Marketing from a recognized institution.

The peri-operative nurse primary responsibility is to provide information and emotional support for patients and their family members, to ensure that all preoperative data have been accumulated, and to maintain patients' baseline hemodynamic statuses.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the preoperative assessment of patients, while contributing positively to evaluation as to suitability of... planned management.
Intraoperative instrument setup and handling prior to, during and after procedures.
Participate in the post-procedure management of patients, ensuring appropriate disposition.
Ensure adequate documentation of care delivered, inventory utilized and quality processes across the perioperative spectrum.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

To review patients before and after surgery on a regular basis in accordance with the plan of care made and inform the in charge of any issues or problems.
To cover theatre anaesthetic duties as assigned and to attend to emergencies when they occur.
To contribute to quality improvement; risk management initiatives and policy development so that the... overall Anaesthesia Service is of the highest quality and reflective of best practice.
Appraise the benefit of surgery to the patient before they are operated on.
Plan for post-operative care and management of all patients destined for operation.
Manage the patients during the operation i.e. administer anaesthesia and monitor the patient during surgery.
Manage all the anaesthetic appliances and machines
Carry out resuscitation of patients and managing them thereafter.

QUALIFICATION

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery from a recognized institution.
Must have a Higher Diploma in Anaesthesia from a recognized institution.
BLS and ACLS training is a MANDATORY.

The Pediatric Clinical Officer shall review the pediatric department activities and priorities on a regular basis updating the Medical Superintendent/Pediatrician on gaps and/or provide recommendations on how to improve quality of services as well as the planning, implementation and management of the Pediatric Department in the Hospital.
Responsibilities

Review of patient’s history and... clinical presentation to ascertain the correct investigations, diagnosis and management plan.
Diagnosis of illnesses and institution of the correct management including conducting minor procedures, resuscitation and all other medical treatment as per the treatment protocols.
Run daily pediatric outpatient clinic.
Admitting patients requiring special care followed by investigations and treatment.
In collaboration with the rest of the clinical staff, receive and attend to patients requiring emergency medical attention.
Whenever necessary, refer patients for further management in higher level institutions.
Refer complex cases to the pediatrician.
Conduct follow ups and reports all complications in writing within or before the end of current duty.
Implement a smooth, efficient client flow to minimize client waiting times.
Participate in quality improvement activities.
Attend and participate in weekly Continuous Medical Education (CME) sessions at the hospital.

Knowledge and Experience Required 

Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery and Higher Diploma in Pediatrics and Child Health.
Registered by the Kenya Clinical Officers Council and in possession a valid practice license.
Trained in IMCI.
Certification in the short emergency courses (ETAT+, EPLS or EmONC) will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an RCO and one year experience post specialization.
