Key Responsibilities:


Environmental and... Social Assessments:


Lead and coordinate Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), Environmental Audits, Environmental Site Assessments, and other related studies.
Conduct field investigations, data collection, and stakeholder consultations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best environmental practices.
Prepare high-quality reports, including impact assessments, mitigation plans, and management frameworks.


Proposal Development:

Develop and prepare technical and financial proposals for prospective environmental management projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create competitive and compliant bid documents.
Identify new business opportunities and support client engagement efforts.


Project Management & Compliance:

Oversee project implementation, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian environmental regulations and international best practices.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.


Company Activities Participation:

Actively contribute to company initiatives, including capacity building, stakeholder engagements, and business development strategies.
Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and client discussions.
Support internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and professional development activities.




Qualifications & Experience:


Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geography, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in environmental consulting, impact assessments, and regulatory compliance.
Strong technical writing skills, with demonstrated experience in producing high-quality environmental reports.
Fair knowledge of Environmental and Social Safeguards requirements of Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) such as the World Bank Group, African Development Bank amongst others. 
Experience in preparing winning technical and financial proposals.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian environmental regulations, e,g NESREA, and other applicable standards.
Proficiency in GIS, data analysis, and environmental modeling tools is an advantage.
Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
