Job Summary:

We seek a motivated, self-driven, and goal-oriented Sales Agent to join our sales team on a contractual basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling Raven's Bankbox products to merchants, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and fostering long-term relationships with customers. Key Responsibilities 


Sales Target Achievement: Drive the sales of the Bankbox product by achieving a monthly target of 80 units sold. 
Transaction Facilitation: Ensure each Bankbox generates at least ten (10) daily transactions totalling at least 100,000 NGN in value. 
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to consistently meet or exceed sales targets. 
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand the competitive landscape. 
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with merchants and agents to foster loyalty and repeat business. 
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues. 
Reporting: Prepare and submit sales reports, including detailed performance metrics and insights. 
Team Participation: Actively participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other team activities to enhance performance. 


Qualifications and Skills 


Education: Minimum of an OND certificate in any related field. 
Experience: Proven experience in sales, particularly in the banking or financial services sector. 


Skills: 


Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. 
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 
High level of target orientation and a results-driven mindset.
Proficiency in using sales and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. 
Strong negotiation and closing skills. 
In-depth knowledge of the local market and customer preferences

Role Requirements

Evidence of Previous customers must also be seen.
Candidate must be eligible and fit to work medically.

Regulatory Compliance:


Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant Nigerian banking laws, regulations, and industry standards, including the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines.

Monitor and report on compliance risk indicators.


Governance:


Assist in the development and implementation of the bank's governance framework.
Provide advice and support to the board of directors and management on compliance matters.

Qualifications and Experience


Bachelor's degree in law, finance, or a related field.
Certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)) is preferred.
An experienced compliance officer within the financial services industry, preferably in a microfinance bank.
Strong understanding of Nigerian banking regulations and industry best practices.
Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
