As the Fundraising Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the fundraising process. You will play a key role in identifying potential investors, managing relationships, and preparing all materials related to fundraising efforts, including pitch decks, financial projections, and investor communications. Key Responsibilities:


Develop Fundraising Strategy: Work closely with the leadership team to define fundraising goals, strategy, and timelines for each round of funding.
Investor Research and Outreach: Identify and build relationships with angel investors, venture capital firms, corporate investors, and other potential funding sources. Conduct outreach to engage with them.
Pitch Deck Development: Create and refine pitch decks, business plans, and financial models tailored to potential investors.

Investor Communication: Manage investor communication throughout the fundraising process. Schedule meetings, provide updates, and maintain relationships with existing and potential investors.
Due Diligence Coordination: Assist in the due diligence process by gathering required documents and answering investor questions.
Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on fundraising progress, key metrics, and results to senior leadership. Use data to optimize future fundraising efforts.
Market Research & Trend Monitoring: Stay informed on market trends, investor preferences, and fundraising strategies in the startup ecosystem, ensuring that [Company Name] is positioning itself effectively to secure investment.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
3+ years of experience in fundraising, business development, or investor relations, preferably within a startup or venture capital setting.
Strong understanding of the fundraising landscape, including venture capital, angel investing, and alternative funding models.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to pitch and engage with investors effectively.
Proficiency in creating financial models, pitch decks, and other investor-facing materials.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
Familiarity with fundraising platforms and tools (e.g., AngelList, Seedrs, Crunchbase, etc.) is a plus.
Previous experience in a startup environment is highly desirable.
