Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. 
Maintain thorough and organized project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
Assist in the planing, coordination, and delivery of training programs on cutting-edge R/ Python ensuring excellent learning experience.
Assist in preparing training curriculum and design various instructional techniques to engage participants and optimize learning outcomes.
Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and oversee the completion of project tasks within established timelines.
Identify potential project risks and challenges, and collaborate with project leads to develop mitigation strategies.
Support the efficient allocation of project resources, including volunteers, materials, and funding.
 Assist in research execution and data analysis to inform project decision-making and drive evidence-based strategies.
Engage with the community and stakeholders to gather feedback, share project updates, and foster collaboration.
Provide administrative assistance to project managers, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing project-related documentation.

 Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in any relevant field
Proficiency in advanced Excel and project management tools (proficiency in Python /R is a plus). 
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Summary/ Overview:
As a Training Manager for  Empowerment for Local People Foundation (ELP), your primary responsibility is to develop  an effective training curriculum, consolidate it into comprehensible modules to enhance the skills and knowledge of small and medium scale enterprises (SME) vendors... enrolled in the organization’s business school. You will play a crucial role in structuring and coordinating training programs across diversified training methods including online platforms like Whatsapp, Telegram e.t.c. You are to ensure that the training is well planned, effectively delivered by identifying specific training needs and implementing the best approach in order to fulfill the business school mission and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

 Plan, coordinate, and deliver  training sessions for SME vendors suitable for delivery on internet based cross-functional platforms.
Design and develop training materials in a structured manner including manuals, resources, presentations and translating them into daily and weekly modules.
Design various instructional techniques and adult learning principles to engage participants and optimize learning outcomes.
Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of training programs.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, human resources development, organizational psychology, business administration).
Proven experience as a training manager or in a similar role, preferably in an NGO or nonprofit environment.
Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
Proficient in creating and delivering training content using various cross functional online platforms like whatsapp, Telegram e.t.c .
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage a learning community, collaborate effectively and build relationships.

Requirement: 


Exhibits exemplary leadership qualities, including a modest and collaborative attitude, and a willingness to learn.


Possesses experience in organizing and overseeing projects and teams excellently, utilizing office tools such as Dropbox and Google Docs.


A good academic degree (ideally a 2.1 or higher) from a well-respected university, particularly in the Humanities, Social Sciences, or Arts, is required. Candidates may be asked to take an aptitude test. Those with a Master's degree are encouraged to apply.


Adept at communicating and presenting effectively.


Has prior experience working in underprivileged communities within Lagos.


Demonstrates a willingness and ability to instruct and improve the skills of others.
